How old were you when you started riding:  8

When did you know you wanted to be a pro:  When I started working around the farm and helping train horses. I realized that I could work at something I loved to do!

First Horse: Maxwell, Cute AQHA horse I showed in Open Classes

First horse show ribbon ever:  3rd place in a WT class

Biggest riding accomplishment to date:  Catch riding on the HITS circuit in FL and winning Champion against 35 other riders in the A/A class.

Most embarrassing horse moment:  When I was a teen I got jumped out of the tack, landed on the other side of a 2-6” brick wall and proceed to say a not so nice word in front of the judge before I was excused to get a lecture from my trainer about “good sportsmanship” in front of everyone.

Nicest horse you've ever ridden: I rode one of my trainer’s Grand Prix horse for schooling- Flash Frame. He was the nicest mover I have ever ridden. Qualified for the Pan Am Games tryouts in 1992 and 1994.

Best Advice anyone ever gave you pertaining to horses: “Everytime you are around a horse you are teaching it something. That can be something good or something bad- it is your choice. “

Advice to young people interested in pursuing a career as a trainer: Make sure you have a great work ethic, and truly love horses at that level.

Favorite local horse show:  I think PHJA year-end will be good this year. We have been enjoying some nice shows at the GA horse park this year as well.

Show you'd most like to ride in: Like to return to some of the HITS shows sometime. They are a blast.

I wish I could ride like:  I did when I was a kid- no fear, and no brains sometimes!

Favorite famous horse of all time: Seabiscuit- gotta love an underdog!

If I wasn't a trainer I would be: a wedding planner or a vet.

In High School I was: talkative- like now!!

Favorite Movie:  Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken

Favorite TV Show(s): Jockeys, and whatever is on TIVO while I am emailing at night.

Favorite Restaurant:  Anything Italian

Favorite Place I've visited: Hawaii

Favorite band/singer:Lots of hip hop on the Ipod to keep me moving.

I'm terrified of: failures, looking stupid, and drowning

Something people would be surprised to know about me is:  I love to sing, but have a horrible voice!

Favorite thing I own: My new farm and ponies!

Dream Vacation Spot:  Australia and return trip to Hawaii

Where you are most likely to be found on a weekend off: Off work? What is that? LOL
